Bridgton Easy Riders February Meeting

Meeting called to order 6:45 PM by President Blaine Chapman

Treasurer’s Report –read by Mary Corthell, for Dave Croteau

Minutes of January Meeting – read and approved.

MEMBERSHIP: 27 business; 86 members + 1 tonight

EQUIPMENT: Groomer is back from being repaired. Blaine has old parts, some are still in fairly good condition so we will keep them as extras. The Tucker runs well now. The sickle bar on front is made for cutting grass, but it cut small tree limbs fine, and will be a great time saver for brushing trail. The old Tucker is ready to be used, but with lack of snow this season may not get used. We have not added the insurance yet, and may hold off until next season.

TRAILS: Club members rerouted the trail behind the Long lake Marine building – with the owner’s permission- (formerly New England Boat) to get around a wet area.

OLD BUSINESS – Rally Feb. 20, 9 AM – 12 noon. Blaine put an ad in the Bridgton News, and collected raffle prizes. Marci Wilde is taking over website, she found one that is free. Club trip rescheduled Feb. 23, 24, 25.

TRAIL MAPS – Sully put map boxes out. Printing cost was $830 for 1,050 maps (.75 each)

NEW BUSINESS: Selectmen are talking about putting a covered foot bridge on Depot St. beside road bridge, using CDBG grant money. Blaine asked if it could be made wide enough for snowmobiles, and will suggest it not be covered.

Adjourned 7:25 PM
Next meeting March 11, 2016.

Respectfully Submitted, Jean Preis, Secretary
